Ngo Quy Hai, a burn survivor from Kon Tum, Vietnam, runs a successful bakery despite a traumatic childhood accident. When he was a toddler, he fell into a wood stove, suffering severe burns. After two years of treatment, Hai was left with scars and faced bullying throughout his life, which led him to isolate himself for years.

Although his education suffered, Hai eventually found hope in a dream to open a bakery, inspired by a humiliating experience when he was turned away from one for being poor. With the support of his family, he trained in hospitality and opened his own bakery, creating a welcoming space for all.
