At least 37 killed and dozens more injured after horror head-on crash between two buses in Bolivia

At least 37 people were killed and 39 injured in a horrific bus crash on the road between Uyuni and Colchani, Bolivia, on Saturday morning. One bus swerved into the oncoming lane, causing a collision with another bus.

The crash led to severe damage, with one bus rolling over. Emergency crews used a crane to flip the bus and recover bodies, which were carried away in blankets.

The injured were rushed to hospitals in Uyuni. Preliminary investigations suggest speeding as a possible cause of the crash.

Police are working to identify both the deceased and the injured. The tragedy highlights the dangers of road travel in the region.
