David Hasselhoff has paid tribute to his ex-wife and fellow Baywatch star Pamela Bach, who passed away at 62.

Bach was found dead at her Hollywood Hills home on March 5. The Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s office confirmed her death was by suicide. She is survived by her daughters, Hayley, 32, and Taylor, 34.

Hasselhoff expressed his grief in a statement: “Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela. We are grateful for the love and support but request privacy during this time.”

The pair met on Knight Rider in 1985 and married in 1989. They divorced in 2006, with Hasselhoff later gaining custody of both daughters.

Bach had roles in The Young and the Restless, Cheers, and T.J. Hooker.
