Donald Trump’s caddy put man in military chokehold after hearing what he said about President during round of golf

US President Donald Trump employs a former Marine named A.J. as his caddy, and things once escalated when he put a man in a military chokehold during a round of golf. A.J. helps Trump with his game at the Trump National Golf Club in Washington, Northern Virginia, and is extremely loyal to his employer.

In 2017, A.J. overheard caddy Brian “Sully” Sullivan making disrespectful comments about Trump during the Senior PGA Championship. Sullivan allegedly said, “I hate that motherf—–!” about Trump. A.J. reacted by confronting Sullivan, putting him in a chokehold, and yelling, “You’re not gonna come to Mr. Trump’s course and eat Mr. Trump’s food and then use the word ‘hate’ about my president.”

Sullivan later admitted his memory was unclear, partly because he might have been hungover, and explained that he didn’t want to be on a Trump course. Eventually, the two made amends.
