The toothpaste trick to get rid of cockroaches and roaches

Anyone who has dealt with cockroaches at home knows how frustrating and persistent the problem can be. These pests are especially hard to eliminate because they’re drawn to warm, dark spaces—often corners of kitchens or behind appliances—where food particles are present.

Cockroaches reproduce quickly, turning a small infestation into a long-term problem. Fortunately, there’s a simple, homemade method that uses common ingredients—one of which is toothpaste—to help get rid of them effectively.

What You’ll Need:

  • 3 tablespoons of sugar

  • 4 tablespoons of flour

  • 3 tablespoons of toothpaste

  • 3 tablespoons of water

Instructions:

Mix all the ingredients together until a smooth dough forms. Then, roll small portions into tiny balls. These should be placed in areas where cockroaches are most commonly seen—under sinks, behind stoves, and in corners.

The sugar attracts the roaches, while the toothpaste acts like a natural poison. Over time, as the roaches consume the bait, the infestation should begin to decline.

Repeat this process two or three times a week for best results. This DIY remedy is simple, non-toxic to humans, and highly effective in keeping your home cockroach-free.
